Susan Dutton’s Swim School is the number one choice for Swimming lessons for children ages three and above. Based at new premises inside of Norbreck Castle.

Susan has been teaching swimming for thirty five years, twenty five years of those teaching school swimming in Fleetwood, Cleveleys and Blackpool Schools. With a wealth of experience, Susan Dutton Swim School is a great choice for lessons in the Bispham, Cleveleys, Thornton and Fleetwood area.

We believe swimming is an essential life skill and once a certain competency has been achieved your child will retain that skill for life. We will teach your child to swim at a level that will allow them to become strong and confident swimmers who are comfortable in the water whilst having fun at the same time!

All teachers are ASA qualified ensuring your child is receiving the best tuition to the highest of standards using the most up to date teaching methods and practices available.

There are two teachers in the water with the beginners to help learners build confidence, technique and to perfect all strokes. When they can swim 10m front and back without any floatation AIDS they move to a first swimmers class where there is still a teacher in the water with them to assist so you can be sure your child is receiving full attention when learning.

We also teach children with special needs, we believe every child should be treated as an individual and will tailor our lessons to suit your specific childs needs. Please get in touch to tell us more about your child and how we can help.

When do we teach and at what age?

Our prices are very competitive with other swim schools in the area. We pride ourself in being a family run business with a passion for helping all children reach their potential when learning to swim.

How old?

We like to take children from 4 years and up.

Unfortunately we do not take children any younger than three.

When do we teach?

Monday:4:30pm: Beginners
6pm - 7:00pm: advancing to ASA Gold Challenge

Thursday:4:30pm: Beginners
6pm - 7:00pm: advancing to ASA Gold Challenge

Our lessons are run from within Norbreck Castle. The new location has great changing facilities, the pool is warm and a lot cleaner, you can park right outside and there is also a comfortable viewing area where you can sit and watch the classes so you can see the progress your child is making as they learn.

How to find the pool

Our Swim School is inside Norbeck Castle School, you will find the pool to the side of the Spindles Health Club entrance. Head down the promenade towards Blackpool and you will come across this shortly after passing Little Bispham.
